1. To select outstanding representative teams to participate in the Ministry of Education's "114th Presidential Cup AI Literacy Championship", and to encourage teachers to make good use of AI information technology to assist teaching, through learning AI programming thinking,
improve students' logical thinking and creative abilities, and combine games to familiarize students with the AI machine learning framework, stimulate students' ability to solve problems using AI, and formulate an implementation plan, which is summarized as follows:
(1) Eligibility:
1. Teachers: Teachers who have passed the city's 111 academic year elementary and junior high school PAIA artificial intelligence teacher certification, and teachers who intend to train students to participate in the competition, a total of 40 people.
2. Students:
(1) Students must be recommended by teachers who have completed this teacher training workshop to form teams of 2. Each school can register up to 2 teams for training, with a total of 40 participants.
(2) Must fully participate in the 12-hour training camp and complete the elimination round.
(2) Course time and location:
1. Teacher training workshop: June 12 (Thursday) and June 19 (Thursday), 114, from 9:00 to 16:00, a total of 12 hours.
2. Representative team training camp: July 15 (Tuesday) to July 16 (Wednesday), 114, from 9:00 to 16:00, a total of 12 hours.
3. Location: 5G Classroom, Xinxing Maker Education and Technology Center (No. 511, Senbei Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei City 104).
(3) Elimination round:
1. On July 17 (Thursday), 114, from 9:00 to 12:00, a group elimination round will be held based on the actual number of teams in the camp. It will be a one-on-one, best-of-three, single-elimination format.
Select the top two teams from junior high and elementary schools as representative teams to participate in the National Junior and Senior High School Information Application Competition's 114th Presidential Cup AI Literacy Championship.
2. The competition results will be announced on the city's science and technology education network on July 23 (Wednesday), 114.
(4) According to the regulations of the National Junior and Senior High School Information Application Competition's 114th Presidential Cup AI Literacy Championship, the top 2 teams from junior high and elementary schools with the best elimination round results will be selected as the city's representative teams,
who will have the rights and obligations to participate in the national training and competition.
