1. To cultivate the scientific and technological literacy of students at all levels in Taipei City and promote interest in learning emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, STEAM and new technology education camps are planned for the winter vacation of 2025,
leading students to understand future technological development trends. The important information for this camp is as follows:
(1) Target audience: Public and private junior high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools (including non-school experimental education institutions and national schools) under the jurisdiction of the Taipei City Government Department of Education
students and their parents enrolled in the 2024 academic year. For age and quota restrictions for each camp, please refer to the "Program Attachment Course Schedule".
(2) Registration method: This event will be registered online. The registration portal is "Taipei City Science and Technology Education Network" (https://techpro.tp.edu.tw/, it is recommended to use Chrome browser to open),
and students are requested to prepare their "Single Sign-On Service" (URL: https://ldap.tp.edu.tw/) account in advance for registration. This registration will be based on the grade level of enrollment in the 2024 academic year,
and please use the "student account" to log in and register (parent accounts cannot be used).
(3) Registration time: From 9:00 AM on December 23, 2024 (Monday) to 12:00 PM on December 30, 2024 (Monday). If the number of applicants exceeds the course quota, a computer lottery will be used to determine the admission list.
(4) Activity date and location: From January 22, 2025 (Wednesday) to February 2, 2025 (Sunday) at the respective maker education and technology centers,
STEAM and New Technology Development Office (Zhongshan Girls High School) and Muzha Vocational High School Drone Education Center (Preparatory Office).
(5) The fee per person (group) per session ranges from NT$300 to NT$900 (details in the "Program Attachment Course Schedule"). Economically disadvantaged students are exempt from fees.
2. In addition, the "Taipei Hao Hao Xue" event, co-organized by the Shipai Technology Center and the Emerging Technology Center, is launching a total of 3 weekend parent-child camps. The relevant activity information is as follows:
(1) Registration method: Online registration (registration URL: https://sites. google.com/view/tpedu10).
(2) Registration time: From December 25, 2024 (Wednesday) to 5:00 PM on January 7, 2025 (Tuesday).
