The purpose of this project is for the Ministry of Education to strengthen the concept of lifelong learning for the people and encourage the public to participate in the selection of lifelong learning role models, so as to implement the development of a learning society. We kindly request all levels of agencies, schools, and organizations in this city to enthusiastically recommend outstanding lifelong learners. The qualifications for the recommended individuals are as follows:
(1) Individuals aged 18 or above who do not have academic status, have participated in lifelong learning activities for more than 5 years, have developed their personal careers, strive for self-realization, and are worthy of being learning role models.
(2) Individuals who can continue lifelong learning, adapt to social changes, make good use of learning resources, and are enthusiastic about sharing their learning experiences, with outstanding achievements.
(3) In order to expand the promotion of the lifelong learning concept and uphold the principle of fairness, those who have previously won national lifelong learning role model awards are not allowed to reapply.
