I. To cultivate the scientific and technological literacy of students at all levels in Taipei City and promote interest in learning emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, a STEAM and emerging technology education camp is planned for the winter of 2025.
This camp will lead students to understand future technology development trends. The important information for this camp is as follows:
(I) Target Audience: Students and their parents currently enrolled in public and private elementary schools, junior high schools, and senior high schools (including non-school experimental education institutions and national schools) under the jurisdiction of the Taipei City Government Department of Education for the 2024 academic year.
Age and quota restrictions for each camp are detailed in the "Program Attachment Course Schedule."
(II) Registration Method: All registrations for this event will be conducted online through the registration portal "Taipei City Technology Education Network" (https://techpro.tp.edu.tw/, it is recommended to use Chrome browser to open).
Students are requested to prepare their "Single Sign-On Service" (URL: https://ldap.tp.edu.tw) account in advance for registration. The registration will be based on the grade level of the 2024 academic year.
Please use your "Student Account" to log in and register (parent accounts are not allowed).
(III) Registration Period: From 9:00 AM on December 23, 2024 (Monday) to 12:00 PM on December 30, 2024 (Monday). If the number of applicants exceeds the course quota, a computer lottery will be used to determine the admission list.
(IV) Activity Dates and Locations: From January 22, 2025 (Wednesday) to February 2, 2025 (Sunday), at the respective Maker Education and Technology Centers,
STEAM and Emerging Technology Development Office (Chung Shan Girls High School), and Muzha Vocational High School Drone Education Center (Preparatory Office).
(V) The fee per person (group) per session ranges from NT$300 to NT$900 (details in the "Program Attachment Course Schedule"). Economically disadvantaged students are exempt from fees.
II. Additionally, the Shipei Technology Center and Emerging Technology Center will jointly organize three "Taipei Loves to Learn" weekend parent-child camps. The relevant activity information is as follows:
(I) Registration Method: Online registration (registration URL: https://sites.google.com/view/tpedu10).
(II) Registration Period: From December 25, 2024 (Wednesday) to 5:00 PM on January 7, 2025 (Tuesday).
