{{ $t('FEZ002') }} Guidance office|

(1) Categories of assessment: Music, Art, and Dance, totaling 3 categories.

(2) Target audience for assessment:

1. Junior high school: 6th-grade students in elementary schools and 7th-grade students in junior high schools who are registered and studying in Taipei City in the 112 academic year.

2. Elementary school: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students registered and studying in elementary schools in Taipei City in the 112 academic year.

(3) Registration period and method: From March 25, 2024 (Monday) to March 29, 2024 (Friday), register through the Taipei City Junior and Senior High School Art Talent Class Assessment Registration System (https://tparttalent.tp.edu.tw).

(4) Assessment criteria

1. Outstanding competition performance: Particularly outstanding performance in international or national competitions in the respective categories organized by government agencies or academic research institutions, winning top three awards in individual categories.

2. Outstanding aptitude test: Aptitude test score is two standard deviations above the mean or above the 97th percentile.

3. Outstanding subject test: The criteria for outstanding subject test performance will be determined by the Taipei City Junior High School Art Talent Giftedness Assessment Working Group.

(5) Assessment methods: Conducted through "document review" and "testing".

(6) Placement and counseling content

1. Placement method: Implemented through a "Special Education Program." Students will be placed in regular classes at their original school district. The school and parents will jointly develop an "Individualized Guidance Plan" for gifted students, and the school will subsequently prepare an application for the Special Education Program and an implementation plan.

2. Counseling content: Primarily provides consultation services. Additionally, depending on school resources, some enrichment curriculum and instructional support services may be offered.

  • Students who have already applied for and been admitted to the joint recruitment assessment for art talent classes in the same category in this city and have passed the art talent giftedness assessment must choose either the "Art Talent Class" or the "Special Education Program" for placement within the same category and cannot apply for both (i.e., students identified as gifted in art who choose to attend an art talent art class cannot apply for the Special Education Program; if they choose the Special Education Program, they cannot attend an art talent art class).
  • Please be sure to refer to the attached file for detailed information.
